Nemko grows in Italy through IASELAB acquisition 

The product testing laboratory IASELAB Srl has been acquired by Nemko Spa, giving Nemko a direct presence in Emilia Romagna, the Bologna region, to provide further testing capabilities, including environmental and vibration tests.

IASELAB is a laboratory for environmental, safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests for industrial, scientific and medical sectors.

The acquisition of IASELAB by Nemko complements the certification services already provided by Nemko Spa in Italy. This strengthens Nemko’s position in Italy, especially in the railway and maritime industries and within environmental testing. “We are excited to be able to increase our presence in Italy,” said Luigi Trezzi, CEO of Nemko Spa. “In particular, our new capabilities for environmental testing are going to give us a competitive edge in the Italian market.”

The acquisition agreement was signed by Trezzi and Irene Tagliani, CEO of IASELAB on 1 July 2021.
